PHASE 1 PROJECT ANALYSIS AND PROGRAMMING
  • Organization, structure & interrelationships.
  • Sizes and number of rooms/area needed.
  • Establish budget requirements and parameters.
  • Discuss image and direction of design concept.
  • Review client questionnaire
  • Consider existing furnishings and equipment to be used.
  • Establish construction/building cost levels.
  • Discuss flexibility, mobility and future requirements and concerns.
  • Research special equipment requirements
  • Develop Project Schedule

PHASE 2: BASE SHEET DEVELOPMENT

  • Collaborate with Architect for building treatments, lighting and design
    details.
  • Meetings with Architect and Contractor
    Secure, in Auto Cad, a full set of construction drawings or as-build of
    existing space.
  • Site measure space as required to verify specific measurements
  • If no plan exists, Design Directions will provide a site measure of space and
    develop an Auto Cad drawing.
  • If plan exists and is not available in Auto Cad format, Design Directions will
    develop an Auto Cad drawing based off of available plan.
