Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all areas of interior design and project management, this includes, but is not limited to product purchase orders, expediting and tracking, customer and vendor invoicing and assisting in the oversight of each project from beginning to end and everything in between.
  • Assist with clients to generate concepts, layout, furniture, fixtures, color, material, and millwork design.
  • Prepare perspective renderings, material boards, and floor plans
  • Formulate preliminary space plans, 2-3 dimensional designs and sketches
  • Source materials and furnishing
  • Manage the interior design resource library
  • Office organization including paper and digital filing
  • Update Social Media
  • Learn and become proficient with our project management software

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the design business is a must. We ask that you have at least one years experience in the industry.
  • Be self motivated and organized
  • Have the ability to work at a fast pace and go with the flow. (Sometime you have to drop one task to complete another, even if it disrupts what you’re working on.)
  • Be willing to hop in your car and pick up samples, drop off materials or check on a job site. You will be a gopher at times.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have savvy computer skills including proficiency in 3D Architect (preferred) or equivalent such as Revit, CAD, SketchUp (This is crucial as we don't have time to teach this)
  • Willingness to learn our project management software
  • Have a great attitude and a go getter sensibility.

What we need from you:
You will be working as an independent contractor and paid an hourly rate. We are looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of 24 hours a week (3 days a week) Our typical work days are from 9AM to 5PM However, there will be times when we need to put in a little more time to get things done or meet deadlines.
